She was predeceased by: her close friend Delmas Sanford; her son Robert Sweet; her parents, Georgia Stanton and Alvin Stanton; and her brother Robert Stanton.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Boyd (Dustin); her siblings, William Stanton (Gail), Richard Stanton (Yasmin), Laura Gregory (Charles) and Barbara Emery (Dan); and her close friend Lisa Konkol.
