She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vaughn, Sr. and Glennie Irene Anderson Vaughn; her husband C. W. Ray; and her siblings, Evelyn "Ebb" Jennings, George "Bean" Vaughn, Charles "Dick" Vaughn, Clyde "Wink" Vaughn and Dorothy Joyce "Dot" Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Cassey Ray (Megan) and Mandy Ballard (Mark); her siblings, Pete Vaughn, Bettye "Bet" Parker and Ann "Liz" Salyers; and her grandchildren, Connor Ray, Ella Ray and Ginna Ray.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens (5070 Main St, Gaylesville, AL 35973).
