It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Howard of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Robbie Howard; her siblings, Kenneth Hill, Larry Hill and Edna Earl Pierce; her grandsons, Clark Combs Jr. III and Mason Farrell Akins; and her parents, Edward Earl Sam and Billie Jean Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Jr. Howard; her daughters, Jessica Magaline Martin (Thomas) and Helen Marie; her siblings, Billy Edward Hill (Carol), Gerald Hill (Janet), Barbara Rose Reynolds (James Leroy) and Audrey Sue Reynolds; her grandchildren, Brittany Jean Blanks, Patrick Eli Dutton, Patricia Dell Dutton, Megan Marie Dutton, Myles Nathaniel Akins, Natalie Rose Akins and Cayden Thomas Garrett; her great grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth Blanks and Ella Rae Dutton; and her caregiver Angie McMullen.
