Ruth Cobia Summers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Cobia Summers of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "W. K."; and her parents, Eugene Samuel and Pluma Blackburn Cobia. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Hampton; her son-in-law Paul McWhorter; and her daughter Betty Summers McWhorter. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private and limited to family.
Memorials may be made to the Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church.
