He is survived by: his mother Georgia Crane McDaniel; his wife Teresa Hudgins McDaniel; his children, Ted Hudgins (Nicole), Brandy Ballew (Jessie), Casey Mackey (Tim), Amanda Lawson, Jessica Eason (Dewight) and Brittany Parham (Justin); his siblings, Frankie McDaniel (Nina), Lester McDaniel (Wanda), Buddy McDaniel (Wendy), Lenord McDaniel (Shelia), JoAnn Trotter, Debra Abernathy (Ronald), Martha McDaniel, Pat Covin and Joyce Rickett; his son Preston Pless; and his close friend Ronald Abernathy. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
