It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Griffeth of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Steve Griffeth. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Griffeth of Cedar Bluff; his daughters, Heather Soukup (Jeremy) of Taylorsville, GA, Katie Wright (Jason) of Smyrna, GA and Robin McCormick (Brian) of Bethlehem, GA; and his siblings, Butch Griffeth (Peggy) of Fayetteville, GA, Larry Griffeth (Cindy) of Eatonton, GA, Jean Martin of Savannah, GA and Candy Shipley (Phillip) of Rutledge, GA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for consideration of donations to be gifted to the Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville Fire Department to pay tribute to their community service. Donations will be collected at the funeral home honoring Roger's life.
