She was predeceased by: her husband George Pierce Jr.; her son Joe Dale Pierce; her son-in-law Tony Anthony; her grandson Michael Thomas Hughes; her great grandchild Kayla Shae Hughes; and her parents, Jacob Pettyjohn and Donia Bentley Pettyjohn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Hughes (Tom) of Cedar Bluff, Jane Pierce, Betty Anthony of Silver Creek and Karen Davenport (Benny) of Cedar Bluff; her grandchildren, Tracy, Lori, Joey, Leigh Ann, Sheena, Mark and Faith; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Tyler, Malinda, Macie, Alea, Curtis, Garner, Daisy, Christopher, Nick, Brittany and Dakota; and her great great grandchild Bella.
