With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mae Abernathy of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mae left this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willy Campbell and Lily Campbell (Charles Abernathy); her brother Marvin Campbell; and her granddaughter Barbara Casen. She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Coheley and Patsy Wade; and her grandchildren, Shane Coheley, Michael Wade and Melissa Hutchinson (Chad). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's unit at Cherokee County Health and Rehab in Mrs. Abernathy's name.
