He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Stokes; his sons, Michael Stokes of Centre and Clifford Stokes of Centre; his stepchildren, Shane Terry of Leesburg, Travis Terry of Centre, Robby Terry of Cedar Bluff and Alicia Shipman of Centre; his siblings, Darrell Stokes of Centre and Geraldine Hall of Cedar Bluff; and his father Clifford. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
