It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Waldman of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Waldman (LB) and Autrey Waldman; his children, Lee Waldman and Shannon Strickland; his brothers, Tommy Waldman and Lewis Waldman Jr.; and his brother-in-law Jack Miller.
He is survived by: his caregiver Susan Miller; his stepsister Pat Miller; and his sister-in-law Trish Waldman. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
