It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Wheeling of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Bill Wheeling; his grandson Cory Drake Wheeling; and his great grandchildren, Roman Drake Price and Elliot Ridge Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Crisler Wheeling; his children, Scott Wheeling (Rose) of Rome, GA and Donna Light (Ronnie) of Cedar Bluff; and his grandchildren, Kayla Light Morgan (Christy) of Cedar Bluff, Krista Culberson (Bryant) of Piedmont, Marli Price (Josh) of Arab, Jordan Wheeling and Nicole Owen (Mike). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

“Glenda and Scott, I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob for years, and spend many good days fishing with him. I do want Brag a little about him fishing, he was one of the best, he showed me places and told me of places on Lake Weiss, that I want forget. From King Creek in Ga. to Spring Creek in Ala. We fish every good spot there way. He was my main man when it come to fishing in tournaments at work. We always did well when we fished together. A Friend and fishing Buddy.”
