He is survived by: his wife Sharon Teresa Covington; his children, Gary Allen Covington, Jr., Ryan Covington (Britney) and Michelle Covington (James); his brothers, Jesse Willard Covington and Leonard Covington; his grandchildren, Brea Covington, Domoinque McCorkle, Kirsten Covington, Mya Covington, Prince Covington and Dustin Covington; his great grandchild Aliayha Covington; and his close friend Tommy Dixon.
