He is survived by: his children, Rachel Jimerson (Sean), Donna Abernathy (Kevin Prater) and Joshua Abernathy; his siblings, Ronald Abernathy (Brenda), Waldo Abernathy, Timmy Abernathy (Kim) and Patsy Abernathy Sims; his grandchildren, Brittany Horn, Payton Boland, Megan Strawbridge and Joshua Abernathy, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Sisneros, Malichi McDaniel, Harminee Sisneros and Colton McDaniel. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
