He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverand William Edgar Adams and Martha Lee Norris Adams; his son Anthony D. Adams; and his sister Betty Tant. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lee Phillips Adams; his daughter Anjanette Fletcher; his brother Gary Adams (Tanya); his grandchildren, Adam Fletcher, Jessica Fletcher Russell (Kyle), William Fletcher, Caroline Fletcher, Zachery Adams and Joshua Adams; and his great grandchildren, Lily Fletcher, Luke Russell, Sadie Russell and Avery Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
