He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Dallas and Ida Bell Horton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Aker Horton; his children, Jeffrey Aker, Jerelyn Turner, Regina Creamer and Beverly Aker; and his sister Edith Jeanne Cooper. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
