It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Nell Givens of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on March 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry "H. J."; and her parents, Herman Lee and Doris Calhoun May. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Givens (Mary) of Cedar Bluff and Jerry Givens of Cedar Bluff; her son-in-law LeRoy Hindman; her granddaughters, Jennifer Givens and Amy Hindman; her great grandchildren, Chloe Givens and Emma Givens; her great great grandchild Sawyer Slater; and her daughter Martha Hindman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
