She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Douglas Jones; her son Randall Douglas Jones; her parents, John W. Cox and Dolly Cowart Cox; and her siblings, Helen Cox Smith and Fred W. Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Jones Porter; her son-in-law Gary A. Porter, Sr.; her grandsons, Gary Allen Porter, Jr (Serena) and John Adam Porter (Madeline); her great grandchildren, Anna Grace Porter and Elizabeth Kate Porter; and her friend Virginia Smitherman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
