She was predeceased by: her husband Burley Jackson; her parents, Daniel Powell and Ila Brown Powell; her daughter Maxine; her son-in-law Billy Lambeth; her son Dewey Jackson; her grandsons, Leon Jackson and Theodore "Speedy" Lambeth; and her siblings, Ida Mae Coleman, Riley Earl Powell and Hagood Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Stewart (Cecil) of Buckatunna, MS; her sister Laura Cardwell (W. C.) of East Brewton, AL; and her grandchildren, Cecil W. Stewart (Cheri) of Taylorsville, MS, Regina Stanford (Norman) of Range, AL, Sandy Jackson of Castleberry, AL and Samantha Knight (Brandell Harper) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
