It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Vaughn Salter Oliver of Castleberry, Alabama, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Salter and Annie Lou Stuckey Salter; and her siblings, John Buck Salter, Aubrey Salter, Carl Salter, George Salter, Jenny Pearl Taylor, Lillian Langham, Lawene Joyner and Maye Langham.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Oliver (Joy) of Castleberry and Danny Oliver of Castleberry; her siblings, Don Salter (Mike) of Castleberry, Frances Curtman (Stan) of Castleberry and Shirley Tippett (Carl) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Brian Oliver (Jolie), Wendy Nelson, Magan (Jacob) and Burch; and her great grandchildren, Addie Oliver, Brinkley Burch, Ember Oliver, Joshua McCall, Troy McCall and Alyssa McCall.
