He was predeceased by: his sons, Larry Walker and Charles Walker; his siblings, John, Lonnie, David, Preston, Lewis Walker, Linda Reece and Ressie Redd; and his parents, Lewis Burt Walker and Mary Jane Lynn Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Reece Walker; his children, Cathy Dennis (Ray), Sandra Walker (Mike), Greg Walker (Linda) and Clint Walker (Jennifer); and his sister Minnie Pearl Ballenger. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
