We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 71, Roger Smith of Carrollton, Alabama, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Robert Casey Walker; his grandparents, Edgar and Theo Vernon; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Hammond; his niece Amanda Smitherman Carroll; and his parents, Bobby Lee Smith and Frances Louise Vernon Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Walker Smith; his sons, Seth Andrew Smith (Jamie Wyatt Smith) and Spencer Aaron Smith (Savannah Boyd Smith); his sister Ann Vining Lawrence; his brother-in-law Steven Walker; his grandchildren, Kollyn Wyatt Hammond and Chloe Lynn Smith; and his great grandchild Sadie Rose Hammond.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Children's Hospital, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233-1785 or to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
