He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Winters and Myrtie Winters; and his brothers, James, Robert and Vernie Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Winters (Matt) and Gerald Winters (Georgiana); his sister Coraphine W. Elmore; and his grandchildren, Lyshanda, Declan, Kian, Daniel and Melissa. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
