She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wood and Margaret Ruth Lamphere Wood; her husband Al Huffman; her daughter Ginny Cox; and her siblings, Florence Barchi, Chestina Pulsifer, Ruth Menders, Helen Andrade, Eugene Wood, Walter Wood, George Wood and Harold Wood.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Gregoire; her grandchildren, Lorie Comfort, Tracy Phillips, Brian Cox, Justin Gregoire and Steven Cox; her great grandchildren, Cati Brewer, Matt Comfort, Maddie Phillips, Aiden Phillips, Riley Phillips, Macy Phillips, Chase Gregoire, Jaxson Gregoire, Caroline Cox, Clara Cox and Charlie Cox; her great great grandchild Brianna Brewer; her sister-in-law Betty Huffman; and her son-in-law David Cox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carrollton United Methodist Church (87 Tuscaloosa St, Carrollton, AL 35447). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
