She was predeceased by: her husband William F. McDaniel; her stepmother Lottie Acker; her siblings, Fronia Goodman, Sarah Turnipseed Hemphill, Laurice Rotenberry, Doris Sparks, Beatrice Ward and R. L. Acker, Jr.; her son-in-law Chester Elmore; her granddaughter Leigh Ann McDaniel; and her parents, Robert Lee Acker, Sr. and Shafronie Hicks Acker.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Faye Elmore, Sheila Diane Holland (Jimmy) and William Harold "Buddy" McDaniel (Melinda); her siblings, David Dewayne Acker (Virginia) and Jean Crawford; her grandchildren, Ricky Elmore (Tammy), Keith Elmore (Kim), Tony McDaniel and Tre Holland; her great grandchildren, Ashley Wilson (Ross), Anna Elmore (Hunter Wells), Jacob Elmore (Katie), Elizabeth McDaniel, Juliana McDaniel, Olivia McDaniel, Fort Holland and Mary Maddox Holland; and her great great grandchildren, Reese Wilson and Harper Wilson.
