She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Earl Smith, Sr.; her sisters, Louise Lancaster, Beatrice Jasper and Zelma Dean Lancaster; and her parents, Elijah Andrew Lancaster and Claudine Kelley Lancaster.
She is survived by: her children, Kay McAteer, Robert E. Smith, Jr. (Rebecca), Mike Smith (Tammy) and David Smith (Vanessa); her siblings, Faye Sessions (Travis), Robert Lancaster and Bobby Lancaster (Laudice); and her grandsons, Trey Smith, Cody McAteer, Robby McAteer, Travis Noland, Kevin Smith, John Smith, Nathan Appleby and Owen Appleby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
