He was predeceased by: his brother Billy Jackson; his grandchildren, Reagan and Layne Perry; and his parents, Clarence Jackson and Johnnie Castleberry Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Hollis Jackson; his children, Tonya Prescott (Landon), Sonya Perry (Wayne), Gary Jackson, Ronnie Burton (Stacy), Shannon Dixon (Mollie) and Richard Jackson (Amy); and his siblings, Peggy Finch (Bud) and Timmy Jackson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other friends.
