It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Edward McDaniel of Carrollton, Alabama, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Amelia McDaniel Freeman and Ida Mae McDaniel; and his parents, Charlie E. McDaniel, Sr. and Juanita Ruth Goodman McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Snow Malone McDaniel; his children, Christy Leigh McDaniel Payne (Scott) and Thomas Edward McDaniel (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Aiden McDaniel, Lauren Payne, Leah McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, Layla McDaniel and Lacey McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
