Betty Pratt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Pratt of Carrollton, Alabama, born in Reform, Alabama, who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Wilburn Carpenter; her husband J. Groce Pratt; her sisters, Loris Madison, Cara Mims and Sula Davis; and her grandchildren, Emily Madison Pratt and John Carter Pratt.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Hester (Dexter) of Pickensville, Ala, Cara Chute (Earle) of Johnson City, Tenn, Jack Pratt (Megan) of Carrollton, Ala. and George Pratt (Shannon) of Helena, Ala.; and her grandchildren, Brook Fisher (Fred), Austin Chute (Katie), Rachel Adams (Sam), Jared Pratt (Jessica), Joel Pratt, Marianna Folds (Cory) and Lawson Pratt. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Carrollton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 457, Carrollton, AL 35447. Betty made the unselfish decision to donate her body to UAB for education and medical research.
