He was predeceased by: his son Benjamin Powell Curry III; and his parents, Benjamin Powell Curry, Sr. and Lillian Cotey Curry. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Curry; his daughter Shelley Curry Pate (Franklin); his brother Ashley Curry (Marga); his grandchildren, Benjamin Powell Curry IV, Charles Connor Curry, Lillian Vold, Lucille Vold, Hugh Pate (Abby), Haeden Pate and Harrison Pate; and his great grandchild Margot Pate. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carrollton United Methodist Church (87 Tuscaloosa St, Carrollton, AL 35447).
