She was predeceased by: her brother William M. Yerby; and her parents, James C. Yerby and Lura Earnestine Smith Yerby. She is survived by: her niece Robin Yerby Gates (John); her nephew William J. "Bill" Yerby (Crystal); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian Gates (Bella Juan), Samuel Gates, Courtney Gates and Aoife Yerby.
