She was predeceased by: her husband James E. "Jim" Freeman; her sister Ida Mae McDaniel; and her parents, Charles Edward McDaniel, Sr. and Juanita Ruth Goodman McDaniel. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Harvell (Richard), Brian Freeman (Joy Hamilton) and Josh Freeman; her brother Charlie McDaniel (Betsy); and her grandchildren, Rachel Harvell, Luke Harvell, Gracie Freeman, Sadie Freeman, Kade Hamilton and Preston Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Operation Christmas Child, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, P.O. Box 301, Gordo, AL 35466.
