He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frances Wheat, James William Hamilton, Sr., Robert Earl Hamilton and Charles Hamilton; his daughter Annie Ruth Young; and his father James Walton Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lucas Hamilton; his children, Randal Hamilton (Mary Faye), Jon Hamilton (Angel) and Saida Villanueva; his grandchildren, Haley Swedenburg Roberts (Ridge) and William Bailey Swedenburg; and his great grandchildren, Charles Graham Roberts and Jon Parker Roberts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
