She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Montgomery and Hazel Montgomery; her sister Annette Martin; her in-laws, Garlin and Nelladean Sparks; and her brother-in-law John Oliver Atkins.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Sparks; her children, Bryan Sparks (Stephanie) and Stacey Cagle (Paul); her grandchildren, Whitney Johnson (Alex), Kyle Cagle (Haley), Katie Payne (Alex) and Joseph Cagle (Michaela); her great grandchildren, Brylie Kate, Peyton, Kolt, Luke, Emma and Iris; and her siblings, Sue Atkins, Jim Montgomery (Sharon) and Debra Moyer (Tommy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church (530 New Oak Grove Rd, Nauvoo, AL 35578). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
