He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil May Kennedy and Noah Monroe Kennedy; and his siblings, Mary Frances Borland, Margie Ann Tucker, Robert Kennedy and Unice Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Darlene Kennedy; his children, April Dawn Kennedy-Herron and Christopher Lobe Kennedy; and his grandchildren, Airelle Mackensey Herron, Payton Dewayne Herron, Brody Myles Kennedy and Courtney Nicole Herron. He is also survived by 2 Great Grandchildren.
