She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Dockins, Jr.; her parents, Doris Wesson and L. C. Wesson; her brothers, Charles and Louis Wesson; her siblings-in-law, Mary Stagner Wesson and James Edgil; and her nephews, Robbie Wesson and Matthew Pate.
She is survived by: her sister Teresa Wesson Edgil. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
