It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Keeton of Carbon Hill, Alabama, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Keeton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Maggie McClain (Hendon); her husband L. M. Keeton; her son-in-law Larry Bradberry; her siblings, Annie, Bertha, Carlos, Florence, Mary of Virginia, Oscar, Vester and Whit; and her niece Lorene Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Bradberry; her granddaughter Leigh Bradberry (Tim Horton); her sister Johnnie Bea Queen; her niece Faye Jenkins; her mother Helen; her niece Janet Hyche; her child Big Baby Brenda; and also, Greg Anderson and Leigh.
Please do whatever you can as an individual so that other families don't have to suffer the same cruel loss so brutally inflicted by COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers or financial contributions, Brenda and Leigh ask that you honor the life that Helen lived and follow her example by: being compassionate and kind to your fellow human beings; loving other people, including those who happen to have been born with a different skin color from yours; and taking unselfish and small steps to protect the health and lives of others.
