Barry Lynn Sims Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Lynn Sims (Carbon Hill, Alabama), who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Barton Sims; his children, Ashley Gilbert, Brian Sims (Dede), Stacie Clark (Jason), Justin Tidwell (Amy) and Macie Clark; his grandchildren, Cameron Gilbert, Dalton Gilbert, Samantha Sims, Amy Sims, Joley Sims, Ty Sims, Jessica Clark and Jacie Clark; his great grandchild Layla Watts; his parents, Hoyt Sims and Faye Sims; and his siblings, Andy Sims (Cindy), Kim Wisdom (Tommy) and Kaye Sims. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to his favorite charities Ruff Rescue and St. Jude or to Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Research at Mayo Clinic.
