She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kent and Bertha Kent; her son Christopher Thrift; and her close friend James Harris. She is survived by: her sons, William and Allan Thrift; and her siblings, Joyce Harris (Thomas), Opal Ransom (Harold) and James Kent (Nancy).
