He is survived by: his wife Princess McCowan; his daughters, Nineca McCowan (Nikki) of Athens, Alabama and Stacy McCowan of Camp Hill, Alabama; his siblings, Janice McCowan (Jessie Moss) and Dwayne McCowan (Pokey) of Camp Hill, Alabama; his grandson Nicholas McCowan (Chidinma) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his siblings-in-law, Julia Shealey (Larry) of Raleigh, Sandra Hughley of Dadeville, Alabama, Janice Hart (William) of Dadeville, Alabama, Hubert Hughley (Sharon) of Washington, DC, Freeman Hughley (Gwendolyn) of Opelika and Roderick Hughley (Francine) of Northport, Alabama; his uncle Frank Holley (Frances); his aunts, Adelle Goggans, Mattie Jean Mosley, Patricia Thompson (Theodis) and Sonia Burton (Harold Farrow); his nieces and nephews, Kara Hughley, Charissa Jackson, Danielle McCowan, Margaret Hughley, Jacobi Hughley, Eric Hughley, Christopher Shealey, Unya McCowan, Lamar Hughley, Jonathan Hughley, Andrew Hart, Marcus Hart and Jordan Hughley; his godchildren, Kahlia Murph and Za'Mora Floyd; and his cousin Michael Goggans.
