Michael L. Askew Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Askew of Camp Hill, Alabama, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his mother Mary D. Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his wife Tambly Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his children, Tykeith Askew of Alexander City, AL and Telia Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his grandchild Sovani Askew of Alexander City, AL; his aunts, Jessie Hardy of Pensacola, FL, Annie Knight of Fort Myers, FL and Carolyn Scott of Reeltown, AL; his uncle Larry Moss of Dadeville, AL; and his close friends, Terence Odem and Roderick Daniels. He is also survived by cousins, great aunts, uncles, classmates, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery (Co Rd 51, La Fayette, AL 36862).
