She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Ashland; her husband Sam Blackwell; her brother Cyrus "Slick"; her sister-in-law Molly Steed; her son-in-law Rusty Brien; her daughter Celia Brien (Rusty) of Dadeville, AL; her grandchildren, Sam Brien (Mandy) of Birmingham, AL, Russ Brien (Lindy) of Hoschton, GA and Molly Sutter (Michael) of Brookhaven, GA; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Walker, Campbell, Brooks, Ellie, Betsy, Blakely, Mary Michael, Hank and Sam. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
