He was predeceased by: his parents, Beth Venn and Harvey Venn; his grandparents, Leonard and Dot Dobson; his brother-in-law Tony Sanders; and his niece Amanda Young.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Venn of Goodwater; his children, Hunter Gibbs (Kayla) of Sylacauga, Logan Gibbs (Samantha) of Goodwater, Jordan Venn (Macey) and Katie Venn (Jacolby) of Goodwater; his grandchildren, Kimlynn and Byron Gibbs of Sylacauga; his siblings, Rita Hallman (Terry) of Goodwater, Lisa, Brenda McDonald (Bryant) of Sylacauga, Paul Smith of Goodwater and Ray Blankenship of Sylacauga; and his close friend Rosalyn Tindall.
