He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Long and Alice Long; and his sister Florence Long Bennett of Atlanta. He is survived by: his wife Frances L. Long; his children, David Ross Long (Margaret), Eddie Lane Long, Allison Long Fleming (Jim) and Ellen Long Tedesco (Roger); his grandchildren, Matthew Long, Phillip Long, Sam Long, Brandon Fleming, Adam Fleming, David Fleming, Emily Tedesco and Elizabeth Tedesco; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan and Maddy Grace Fleming.
