He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Matilda Sigler, Sr. (McCants); his children, Pearlie Mae Sigler (Risper), James Jr., Dewayne Sigler and Janifer Cunningham; his grandsons, Raheem Hunter and Brandon Sigler; his great grandchild Dewayne Sashner, Jr.; and his siblings, Peter, Robert Jr., Tallie, Julius Sigler (Spook), Allie White and Geraldine Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sigler of Camden, AL.; his children, Charlie Sigler, Byron Sigler, Sr. (Jessica Bones) of Mobile, AL, Cathy Irby Durant of Duluth, GA., Sherrell Dunn of Buford, GA., Belinda Goode of Jonesboro, GA., Jacqueline Knight of Ellenwood, GA., Nina Gordon of Mobile and Shanta Cunningham of Camden; his siblings, Lewis Sigler (Ida) of Lawton, OK, Karlic Sigler (Spudnick) of Mobile, AL., Marie Mosley of Brooklyn, NY, Hester Gray, Annie Olds (Willie), Mary Hawkins and Cynthia James of Mobile, AL; his mother-in-law Janie Cunningham; and his siblings-in-law, Stephanie McWilliams (Roosevelt), Clara King (Tony), Betty Cunningham, Andrew Cunningham, Johnnie Cunningham (Estella) and J. D. Cunningham (Coretta). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
