It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Garrett of Camden, Alabama, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Frank Powell and Louise Powell; and her siblings, Sherlean Bumpers, Doris Austin, Otis Powell, Nathanial Powell and Ronald Powell Kenneth Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Tasha Garrett-Hudson (Alonzo); her grandchildren, Rayshawn, Demarion, Alonzo Jr. and Ziare; her great grandchildren, Demarion Jr. ZaKari, Malik, Zamir and Naomi; her siblings, Loretta McDaniel, Jeanette Williams, Carolyn Foye, Patsy Parker, Wanda Powell, Willie Powell and Timothy Powell; and her cousin Frances Garrett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many relatives and good friends.
