He is survived by: his parents, Alton Sr. and Lois Peters; his stepson Bryan Sivils; and his siblings, Mike, Tom, David, Joseph, Mary Dyer, Patricia Frank, Jean Peters and Rebecca Messer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
