With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Howell Rankin of Calera, Alabama, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janice Hobbs Rankin and William Edgar Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Henderson Rankin; his nephew Brian Moseley; his stepchildren, Bruce Martin, Dennis Martin and Wendy Wesson; and his sons, Preston Dodd, Kenneth Dodd, Colin Wesson and Fisher Wesson. He is also survived by great grand children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans or ExpectCare Hospice of Birmingham.
