He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalma Neill and Dorothy Sistrunk Whitaker of Columbus, MS.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Whitaker; his stepchildren, Ginger Doyle of Columbus, MS, Chris Sanders (Candy) of Fairhope, AL, Julie Glass (Tony) of Robertsdale, AL and Cindy Selzer (Don) of Indianapolis, IN.; and his sisters, Kathleen Whitaker Bryden (Robert) of Lincolnton, NC and Carole Whitaker Moore (Carl) of Tupelo, MS.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great grandchild.
