We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Shirley Blackerby of Calera, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Floyd Brantley and Emma Lessie Posey Brantley; her husband Billy Jack Blackerby; her siblings, Dan Brantley and Joyce Hayes (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Peggy Brantley.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Slaughter (Tom) of Calera and Wade Burnette (Gidget) of Jemison; her siblings, Ellen Scott (James) of Jemison and Wayne Brantley of Montevallo; and her grandchildren, Jamie Coleman (Ben) of Hoover, Alana Flow (Frank) of Calera, Griffin Burnette of Tuscaloosa and Jackson Burnette of Jemison. She is also survived by five Great Grandchildren.
