He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Mae Franklin and John L. Smith; his brother Harold Smith; and his great grandchild Cayden James Bobo. He is survived by: his wife Ann B. Smith; his children, Terri Stawski, Robert W. Smith, Jr. (Anita) and Barbi S. Fortenberry; and his sisters, Mary Bright (Randy) and Betty Harris. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
